The foursome Indie rockers band Bloc Party has decided to go on a brief concert tour of the US during the fag end of July and the beginning of August. The Bloc Party has been assigned the job of performing at Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago on the 1^st of August. The British rock artists are a popular bunch all over the world and the fans in Los Angeles, California, San Francisco, New York City and Philadelphia will be able to get a taste of the music of the Bloc Party during their summer tour.

The Bloc Party is also slated to perform at the Toronto V Festival on September 6. The band is embarking on a foreign tour to promote their last album “A Weekend in the City” which is a follow up of the Bloc Party’s 2005 album “Silent Alarm”. Their new album sold about 48,000 copies in the first week of its release in the US.
