The Latin musical genius, Enrique Iglesias, says that he will quit the music industry once he attains 50 years and will not follow his father’s footsteps, who at the age of 65, is still producing his magic on stage. The 32 year old high energetic pop singer says that his style of music will not be able to entertain people of the older generation and hence he cannot possibly sing it beyond a certain age. His father Julio is famous even at this age and his style of music attracts both the young and the old alike. Enrique says that his father will be performing till he ends his life on stage and respect him for the same.
Enrique believes that a song like Bailamos will not go well with the audience in 15 years time while he performs on stage at the age of 50. However, Iglesias said that he is not sure if he wants to retire at the age of 50 years and will decide otherwise when he attains that age. But he says that performing on stage at the age of 64 or 65 years will not be what he can ever think of doing and said that it is better to retire gracefully once he feels that his music is dying.
