Bonnie Raitt, the singer/guitarist, who is a member of The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, started her latest tour by performing at the Dutch Mason Blues Festival in Nova Scotia, on August 9th. She will entertain the people in U.S and Canada by visiting Ontario, Salt Lake City, Orillia, British Columbia etc. Her concerts tickets are in great demand as her concerts are marked with ideal song selection and soulful rendering. She is a well-known activist and is a volunteer of Rhythm and Blues Foundation. During her present tour, she will do many benefit concerts and the tour will end at with a performance at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, CT.

The hot R&B singer, Young Jeezy has planned his American tour schedule to promote his forth coming release “The Recession”. He will start a three week long tour to promote the latest album, from Houston on August 10th. The official release date of “the Recession” is set on September 2nd. This album is said to be a follow up album of his last release “the Inspiration” which sold more than one million copies. In the coming weeks, the concert fans can enjoy his performance at a choice of locations in U.S by getting the tickets from various sources according to one’s convenience.

Fans are stumbling over their feet trying to get their hands on tickets to Brit band Yaz’s reunion concert. Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke has recently make it known to the public that they are coming together for the first time in 25 years in order to perform. The duo has plans to begin the worldwide tour starting from a 30-day tour around Europe before jetting over to the US for the reunion tour. The first tour date is July 6, and the venue, Las Vegas. In conjunction with this much anticipated tour, Yaz will also release a special four disc album edition titled “In Your Room”, scheduled to arrive in the US by July 8.

Los Lonely Boys are coming out with a new album and threesome rock band is planning to hit the US roads this summer in a bid to promote their new album. The Los Lonely Boys have said that the release of their new third album “Forgiven” will be on July 1st and the sibling trio will be performing their next show on May 25th in New Braunfels in Texas. The Garza brothers with Henry playing guitar, Ringo playing drums and JoJo playing bass will be traversing the length and breadth of the country in the months of June, July and August and the tickets to these concerts will be made available to the fans shortly.

Fans of British rock band Coldplay are delirious with excitement when they realise that their favorite band will not only dole out a free song download to commemorate the launch of their new album, but they are also expected to perform FREE at New York City! The concert will be held at the monumental Big Apple Madison Square Garden and to top it off, fans can win premier tickets to watch Chris Martin and gang in action. James McMurtry is all set to embark on a complete tour of North America to promote his new album “Just Us Kids”. The concert tour kicks off with a performance at Austin Waterloo Records and will be followed by a couple of shows at the Continental Club on April 15th and 16th. McMurtry fans are pretty much excited about their hero performing in front of them and will be large numbers to show their support to their superstar.

James McMurtry who writes his own songs will be traveling with his band to perform in Country Store in Texas on April 18, New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on May 1st, Granada Theater in Dallas on 26th April and also in places like Chicago, Kansas City, North Carolina, etc in the month of May. James performance at the concert will include songs from his current Kids album as well as his 2005 album Childish things.

The Ladytron is starting a tour touching 30 cities in U.S and Canada inorder to support their forthcoming release of the electro band’s new album named “Velocifero”. The album will be released on June 3rd under the new label, Nettwrek. The album was recorded in Paris art the studio de la Grande Armee. The band has additional collaboration with Alessandro Cortini of Nine Inch Nails and Vicarious Bliss in the production of the album. The North American tour to promote this album will start on 20th May in Alberta at the Starlight Room in Edmonton.

The band will tour through different destinations like Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, on May23rd, Wonder Ballroom in Portland on 25th May, the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles on May 29-30, in Englewood on June3rd and in other major cities like Houston, Chicago, New York, and Boston. In Houston, the band will perform at the Meridian on June 7th followed by performance at Miami on June12th and will perform at the famous Bonnaroo Music and Art festival at Manchester on June 15th. The last performance of the tour will be at the Imperial Du Quebec during its summer festival on July 3rd. The tour is expected to help in increasing the sales of the new album.

The Ra Ra Riot band has chosen to kick start their major tour from March 12 to 15 with six party as well as showcase performances at the South West Music conference in Austin, wherein they will preview the songs of their forthcoming debut album. They follow this up by joining hands with the three siblings of the Cribs band, the tour that begins on March 17 at Athens and concludes on April 4th at Los Angeles. The Ra Ra Riots and the Cribs will be performing in places like Washington DC, Chicago, Cleveland, Seattle and San Francisco during the period of March 17 to April 4.

The Ra Ra Riot then joins with Los Angeles ‘The Little Ones’ music group for a nationwide tour that kicks off on April 5 and runs till the mid of May. The busy Ra Ra Riot is slated to perform in San Diego, Charleston, Orlando, Austin, Ohio, Baltimore, Detroit, California as well as Kansas City. This massive tour is expected to bring in lot of fans following the Riot’s band group which started stepping into the music scene recently in the year 2006. The band has spent the whole of winter working on their new album that will see the limelight in the year 2008.

Madonna has been selected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and she will be inducted by the hottest star in the music business Justin Timberlake. The induction ceremony to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will take place at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York on 10th March. The eligibility for the nomination was that the artist should have released their debut album before 1983. Madonna fits into this classification as her first song “Everybody” was released in the year 1982. From 1982 she had the best career growth in the music industry.

She ruled the dance floors for three decades with the Rock and Roll style. Justin Timberlake celebrated his 27th birthday last month with Madonna. They were together on the sets of the video shoot of Madonna’s song “4 Minutes to save The World”. Madonna sang “Happy Birthday” and presented Timberlake champagne and cupcake. The new video of Madonna will feature Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Other musicians and groups who are going to be inducted to the hall of fame include Dave Clark Five, Leonard Cohen, John Mellencamp, The Ventures etc. The inductors are Tom Hanks, Lou Reed, Billy Joel, Ben Harper and John Fogerty.

Enrique Iglesias the Spanish singer has added a golden feather to his crown as his song “Donde Estan Corazon” reaches the number1 position on the Billboards hot Latin songs.

This song is apart of his new album”95/08” which is a compilation of his Spanish number one hits. This is the 18th song of Enrique that has reached the numero uno position. The new album of this international pop star, “95/08” will be released internationally on March 25th of 2008 and this album mainly focuses on the songs which became popular in his 13 year Career as an artist.

 

The lyrics of the song “Donte Estan Corazon” is by Iglesias and Coti Sorokin and is all about memories of the lost love presented in a melancholic manner. The video of the song is directed by Paul Mino rand is received well by the Enrique fans. This album includes songs like”Experiencia Religiosa”, “Hereo or Dimelo”, “Enamorado Por Primera Vez” and the famous “Bailamos”. The new album will be available in CD regular Version with 12 hit songs from earlier albums and2 songs, which are not released previously and in CD+ DVD Deluxe Edition, which contains 17 hit songs and the 2 unreleased songs. The DVD contains 8 videos and a special interview with the singer.
