Tori Amos announced earlier this year that after working with major music labels, she will be operating independently from now on. She is well known for her very emotional and provocative songs about sexuality, religion and personal tragedy. Amos is expected to release a duet with David Byrne next year and has been working on a musical theater version of The Light Princess, by George MacDonald. Earlier this year, she released a Live DVD of a concert she played in the early 90s.
