Although the band sings in Swedish, Dungen has somehow managed to rise in the inner circles of American indie rock. Akin to Iceland’s Sigur Ros, the majority of Dungen fans appreciate the fine instrumentals of this neo-psychedelic progressive rock band. Plus, lead singer Gustav Ejstes’ voice is one of a kind, bearing similarity to Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant. With the release of their new album, 4, the band has jumped on tour.
