My Bloody Valentine rarely tours so it’s a big deal that they are currently on their North American tour which is pretty much sold-out everywhere. One of the stops in their tour is their co-curated ATP New York Music Festival which kicked off today. Indie rock fans who havent seen the line-up should do so in the privacy of their own homes as they will orgasm upon first glance. Playing tonight, albums all the way through, sponsored by Dont Look Back: Thurston Moore, Meat Puppets, Built to Spill, Shellac, and Tortoise- and that’s just day one. The second day includes notables Shellac and Les Savvy Fav. My Bloody Valentine picked out bands Yo La Tengo, Dinosaur Jr. and BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE to join them in playing the third day.
