An international audience joined a Kansas City crowd as Brooks was playing his final concert of the series that ended the 9-year touring hiatus. Yesterday’s concert was simulcast to the musician’s fans in movie theaters across the US, Canada, and Europe. Garth Brooks, who had not toured for already nine years, tied his own record for selling the highest number of tickets in any city in the US and Canada during the 9 Kansas City concerts at downtown’s new Sprint Center.
