Minnesota Dance Theatre’s fall show at the Pantages Theater in Minneapolis last weekend was absolutely stunning. The diverse repertory that spanned contemporary and classical works was both thrilling and eye-opening. All the dancers artfully executed with magnificent spirit and personality. Caitlin Fitzpatrick, Sam Feipel, and Melanie Verna were at the core of the performance; they managed to reveal new performance depths in the often-bittersweet trio “Caitlin, Sam and Mel” by Joanie Smith. Melanie Verna’s dancing was so soft and sensitive that one could almost hear her limbs keening with emotions.

The 2-hour live performance will feature the dancers reprising their best shows from television, plus plenty of group combos and solos.
